Terms of Use

1.Who we are
Rivvo (“Rivvo”, “we”, “us”) operates a platform that organises skill competitions between players: tournaments in several games, each with its own game modes, starting with EA SPORTS FC. Players play their matches on their own consoles or PCs and compete for prizes. Rivvo is the organiser — it does not play against players, takes no side in any match and does not interfere with any result. It keeps a platform fee from each entry fee and pays prizes from the prize pool, under rules published before each tournament. Rivvo is operated by RIVVO GAMES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17500514). Registered office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.
By creating an account or entering a tournament you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Rivvo.
2.Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older. Paid tournaments involve real money and are not open to minors.
- You must be legally allowed to take part in skill-based paid competitions where you live. Some countries and regions are excluded, and Rivvo may restrict entry by country at any time.
- You may hold one account only. Multiple accounts controlled by the same person are a breach of these Terms.
- You must own a legitimate copy of the game and the platform account needed to play it. Rivvo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Electronic Arts or any other game publisher.
3.Your account and your game ID
You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password secret. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.
To enter a tournament you must register the in-game ID you actually play with. Results are matched to that ID: if the ID on your account does not match the one shown in your match screenshots, your result cannot be filed automatically and may be voided. Changing your in-game ID mid-tournament is limited, and repeated changes are treated as an attempt to evade result matching.
4.Wallet and entry fees
- Your Rivvo balance is a record of funds held for tournament entry and prize payouts. It is not a bank account, earns no interest, and is not a payment service for anything outside Rivvo.
- Entering a paid tournament debits the entry fee immediately and the transaction is recorded in your wallet ledger.
- Entry fees, prize amounts and the split between champion, runner-up and the platform are shown on the tournament before you enter. What is shown at the moment you enter is what applies to you.
- You may not transfer your balance to another player.
- How deposits and withdrawals work is set out in our Deposits & Withdrawals policy.
5.Competition rules
Each tournament publishes its own format, level requirements, region, team mode and clock before entry opens. In addition:
- Tournaments run on a schedule. Rounds start at published times and you are expected to be available. Missing a round without using the in-app protections can cost you the match.
- A level game is allowed in the group stage. A knockout tie must be replayed until there is a winner — declare the tie in the app and the bracket waits for you.
- If your opponent does not show up, claim a walkover in the app. They get a response window; silence becomes a forfeit.
- Level restrictions are enforced: a player above a tournament’s ceiling cannot enter it, and a player below its floor cannot either.
- Where a tournament assigns teams (random or purchased), you must field the team assigned to you. Fielding a different one is a 3–0 forfeit against you, even if you won the game.
6.Results and evidence
A result is proven by a photograph of the final score screen — never by a player typing a number. There is no route in Rivvo for a player to declare a score by hand; the platform reads it.
- The photo must show the full-time screen with both in-game IDs and the score visible. Photos of a paused game, a pre-match screen or a HUD are rejected.
- Your photo is read by an automated reader (see the Privacy Policy for who processes it). Where the reader is not certain, the case is sent to a human organiser rather than guessed.
- A filed result opens a short window for your opponent to accept it or contest it with their own photo. If they say nothing, the result stands. If they accept it, it is final immediately.
- Photographs of another match, re-photographed old screens, edited images and any other manipulated evidence are grounds for immediate disqualification and account closure.
7.Disputes
Contesting a score requires your own photo of the final screen — words do not overturn proof. Where the two photos disagree, the match is frozen and a human organiser rules on it with the full history of both players. Reports of a broken rule or cheating go straight to the organisers.
Organiser decisions on match results are final for competition purposes. This does not remove any statutory right you have to challenge a payment or a decision under applicable consumer law.
8.Prizes
- Prizes are credited to your Rivvo wallet when the tournament finishes.
- Prizes are for skill, not chance. Rivvo tournaments are competitive events, not games of chance or gambling.
- You are responsible for any tax due on prizes where you live.
- A prize paid on a result later found to be fraudulent may be reversed and the account closed.
9.Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations and refunds follow our Refunds & Cancellations policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10.Conduct
The following end your participation and may end your account:
- Falsifying evidence, or filing a result for a match that was not played as reported.
- Colluding with an opponent to fix a result or a bracket.
- Using more than one account, or playing on behalf of another person.
- Exploiting bugs in the game or in Rivvo to gain an advantage.
- Abuse, threats, harassment or discriminatory conduct towards other players or staff.
How results are checked and what each breach costs: Fair Play & Anti-Cheat.
11.Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that we reasonably suspect of fraud, or where we are legally required to. Where an account is suspended while a tournament is running, entries in that tournament may be voided. Funds that are not the subject of an investigation remain yours.
12.Availability and liability
Rivvo depends on services we do not control — the game publisher’s servers, your console or PC, and your internet connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and we are not responsible for a match lost to your own connection, hardware or platform outage. The in-app protections (connection claim, delay claim, walkover) exist precisely so those situations have a defined route.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. A tournament you have already entered is governed by the rules published at the moment you entered it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
